Hurricane Ike blew in on September 13th 2008.  Joanie, Mom and I rode out the storm.  We lot power that first night before the storm really hit.  We remained without power or water for 2 days - which really is pretty good considering a lot of people in the city were still without power after 2 weeks!  We lost 3 trees but had no damage.

An old Oak tree fell on Nicole's garage apartment in the Heights.  She was out of her apartment for about a month until work was completed.
